I've been obsessed with the Prime Video show "We Were Liars," so of course I had to do a monologue from the book that the show was based off of. Taken from pages 231-232, I thought it would be interesting if I turned Cadence's internal dialogue into a scene where she's talking to a therapist about what had happened on Beechwood Island (because that girl is going to need a lot of professional help after everything she's been through and loss).
